Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) from a recognized university.

- English shorthand speed of 80 words per minute.
- Transcription speed of 20 words per minute on a computer.
Age Limit (as of 1 January 2024):
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 37 years
- Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms.

Fee: No application fee for all candidates.

Written Test: Objective-type questions related to general knowledge and English.
Shorthand Test: 80 words per minute in English.
Computer Proficiency Test: Transcription at 20 words per minute.
Document Verification: Verification of original documents.
Medical Examination: As per departmental norms.
